How many times can you ink Canon PIXMA FINE CATRIDGE be recharged?
Hi people I have a Canon Pixma IP 1200 printer indicates that the FINE technology or inkjet Full-photolithography Engineering nozzles. I also assume the CATRIDGE is fine as well. I have so far met 2 times and it prints pretty good actually. Infact reproduce the colors of Nice, and the detail is great. Only thing though is that When I print an image that has a lot of black in it, you actually see Streak Lines descend vertically. I tried alinging, cleaning and even CATRIDGE soaking in the hot water and the problem is still there. Does anyone know what could be causing this? And also very important, I heard these catridges new Canon FINE technology can be reused up to 5 times this can be through. If you like what I learned to know, how do I have to refill the CATRIDGE gives Out, or begins to print bad.
Difficult to give an answer Ultimately, because it depends on a couple of variables. As a mark of ink used, "butcher" factor, quality control during manufacturing process of the cartridges themselves, etc. Some inks are slightly acidic, which eventually causes microscopic holes or corrosion to the nozzles. Some nozzles are slightly more likely to become clogged and even after a thorough cleaning in hot water, alcohol or vinegar, in a page or two, they start fouling. One of the most common effects is that streaks. (And the cleaning process could even damage the nozzles.) Alone way to compare it to a spray. Brand new nozzle, spray large. But even if you wash the nozzle after each use, possibly distribution of the spray is messed up. Better than I can offer is my own personal guideline. I do not care how many times I can refill a cartridge. I expect to fail after the first recharge. If I can fill it more than once is a bonus for me. But when I do not like the quality the print job, I get rid of the cartridge ….. it was refilled once or something more than that. Sorry It help no more. plrr
