fine art inkjet printing
I need to print some high quality scans of photos I have for a magazine of art, laser or inkjet?
What should I look? I need to scan and print images of art to submit to my producers. Some of the art lines very fine together. Most of them are sketches and drawings using pencil and pen on paper does not contain much color used. Some is also water paintings by local artists. I want to take color and equally important, detail. When the sketch displays, it is important that if a magnifying glass is used, it should not be much, if at all, details of losses. Regarding scanners go, I guess I just look for a high resolution capability? The cost is quite important too, I'll try to stay within the $ 500 budget. Thank you all in advance. What's better for printing Micro? Anything that can print text or numbers must be micro end capture the details of the art. Colors should match as well of course.
Inkjet having a higher resolution potentiall than most color laser printers for office. If the publisher does not want the digital file, the best solution would be to take the files to a provider class service to make impressions glicee or another process.
